Facts: Our client, KD (“Client”), hired the firm to help him defend against a complaint filed with the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (the “Board”) that he was completing a high volume of appraisals which were listed across a large distance of travel in a single day.
Outcome: The firm gathered the client’s appraiser records and drafted a narrative response explaining to the Board staff that Client was rushing his inspections in order to keep up with unrealistic client demands at the time and why the high volume of appraisals did not warrant any Board action. After the Board completed their investigation, they sent a letter stating they were dismissing Client’s case with no warning or formal discipline.
